I think the many positive reviews of this place is more for the ambience and location than the food. It's not bad. Decent, predictable Japanese fare with little innovation, and not flawlessly executed. Entrees were lacking in flavor or else were salty. Not a deal breaker on a Saturday night if you want to enjoy Tivoli and a bottle of sake with a good friend and have a hankering for Japanese. But it's less than nothing to write home about. The service is, well, serviceable.
