Cards weren't working at the pump, so went inside and waited in line. Cashier said there was an extra charge for credit card at this location so I used my debit card. Go out to the pump and put the nozzle in my tank and waited...and waited...and waited. Finally went back inside and told cashier my pump still wasn't on and he replied yes that the transaction didn't finish! I felt like I was in a twilight zone episode!
Why did he let me walk out to the pump without telling me anything knowing it wasn't going to turn on for me?! There was a long line again so I just gave him cash to quick turn on my pump. I thought about it, and the guy never greeted me or even said hi. Whatever, but you don't let a customer walk out to a pump that won't work after they are standing in front of you and put their card into the credit card pos processing terminal (I don't recall whether it was swipe or chip reader).
The outside was a dirty cement area at the pumps in need of being spray washed and empty water basins if you wanted to wash your windows.
This was 11am on Saturday 24th of February.
When you're a cashier attendant, you have to at least minimally communicate with your customers and not just stand there emotionless and silent. Is this really too much to ask and expect? Wow, total failure on this experience!
