  • Stopped by this Cookout while doing errands nearby. Ordered burger, fries and a milkshake. Burger was tasteless and the bun was hard and cold. Milkshake was fine but not outstanding. Called the company number on receipt and got an apology and the promise of free meal cars. I used it recently at a Cookout near Independence. And the food was not appreciably better. A chain I will avoid from now on; a place like Steak and Shake is much better in my opinion.
