  • I will NEVER AGAIN step foot in Cafepino near the Harkins 101! First, the owner was so rude to me. I asked the busser to please tell our server that we would like to order, the owner came over and said to me, very curtly, "okay, your order!" I gave him my order quickly in the spirit of his attitude which at this point, I thought was in a fun manner. I quickly replied with my order for a chicken gf pasta dish. He finishes the table's order and I verify with him that he noted my gf request and he says, Aw! Well if you want gf you have to tell me this, how will I know if you don't tell me this? I replied that this is exactly why I had just verified this with him. Then, trying to be friendly, my husband asks him where in France he was from, he says, "Paris but the Muslims have turned it to garbage! He then mimics them by bowing and calling out Allah Akbah!! Needless to say our dinner party of 5 will never be back. I'm disgusted at the blatant bigotry that he felt no shame in openly displaying in his restaurant. This experience has left me sick to my stomach!
