| - Do NOT come here. BAD customer service. Bad bad bad.
Came in, no greeting at all due to "employees" being too busy chitchatting instead. I needed a little more than just my tinted moisturizer so I came in with very little make-up on so I could actually try the Bare Minerals shades before I bought a whole new set. I had $200 in gift cards I was ready to get down with! The BM station is right in the front and center of the store. Employees still talking and glancing at me instead of greeting or approaching. It wasn't a busy day. Few min of me picking up and trying to carry and figure out a bunch of the products myself and finally older lady with short hair comes up; "you still doing okay?" I actually haven't spoken with anyone at all yet, I'm looking for just a little help-- "What do you want?" Oh, just trying to find my right shade -- *she sees another lady passing by* "hey need any help?" (other lady needs clear LIP GLOSS.) Instead of pointing it out to her in the aisle next to us, or getting someone else to assist, she put her hand/palm up to me and walks away from me. While I was mid-sentence. To show another lady clear lip gloss. Then.. doesn't come back.
I need the make up for this week/weekend, so im doing my best to figure it out myself while I wait for another associate to be free from her conversation. One finally walks over from the Benefit station, yay, she's nice. At first. Then after she tries one shade on my face, (wrong shade) says that's fine it'll blend, she hands me a mirror and walks away. I've never experienced customer service like this before esp not at a store like Ulta.
I'd like to add that while I was barely helped and given exasperated looks when I asked questions, there were other women there getting approached immediately, chairs pulled up behind them to sit down, given brand new sponges and shades to choose from and try on, even had them swatched and put on for them.. I got answers like.. just open it and put some on. Use your finger. There's a bunch of colors, just try a different one. Yeah, they all look fine.
I smiled and tried to be nice bc I really did need help. But nothing. Just some of the poorest customer service I've encountered in this state. Go to Sephora or find a different Ulta. I wish I new these employees names. But the are so many bad customer service reviews on this place, I'm guessing the manager wouldn't give a damn even if I did give their names.
