My car was recalled in Oct 17 by Acura for a faulty transmission. I took in for repairs in early Dec only to find out they didn't have the parts. They said they would order the parts and the parts should be in in a couple of weeeks . After two weeks I call --- you guessed it no parts. In Jan I took the car in for an oil change and again no parts. They blamed it on Acura -- that the toy had a shortage of parts . I call Acura and they say "not our problem" .. call the dealer or take it to another dealer which happens to be 90 miles away. Forget that .. I bought it at Hendrix they should fix it. I called Hendrix customer assistance manager Kim and she doesn't call me back.
I'm stuck in the middle hoping to go on a road trip with a car that has a faulty transmission. They are acting like a third world car manufacturer -- remember the Yugo. In any event this is my third and final Acura.
If anyone wants a 2016 ACura MDX I'm dealing.
