| - There is a nail technician (named Sunny) I like here, so when I have to go here with no other choice (since it's cheap, doesn't need reservations, open until late, and isn't closed one a week like other nail shops) I try to get Sunny. She's polite, and good at what you need: a decent shellac mani.
The last time I was there a couple of months ago, ANOTHER technician completely disappointed me. She was so rude, let shellac topcoat seep into my cuticles (when I told her about it, she tried to remove it-which was slightly painful-and when she couldn't, just disregarded it), and finished my mani with such carelessness that it took (barely) 20 minutes. Typically, shellac manis last 30~45 minutes... at any nail shop I've been to. I wish I knew her name to warn others like me who just need a well done shellac mani, and not leave this nail shop with poor experience.
The shellac mani is cheap at $20 here, but I have been to other salons near by for $20~$25, that is much, much better. I really, really recommend Wow Wow Nails. $20 shellac, and the shellac lasts much longer. The hand massages are longer (yes!).
I also feel like the technicians here aren't very happy, and that affects the general mood of the salon.
I would not recommend this salon, but if you must go, ask for Sunny.
