  • Stopped by WFM to stock up on food and water supplies for the week (back in LV again for business). Seems like this is the only place in town where you can find organic food (I've definitely not seen any organic or free range foods in any of the restaurants). We also decided to eat lunch here, they had a decent selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes...Definitely less choice than in the Bay Area (SF), but beggars can't be choosers. Kinda sad, I live in CA where there are farms aplenty, so it's easy to buy locally and organic. In the desert, there is no such luxury! We should all take a moment to appreciate what we have, because there are many places in the world whose inhabitants aren't as lucky...
