  • Wasn't particularly looking for German food yesterday when I was in downtown Glendale. But we found this place and BAM! What a treat! I had a turkey and apple sandwich which was a fantastic choice for a 110° afternoon in Arizona! Light. Refreshing. And a surprising blast of flavors. We also had the classic Ruben. My guest said "the best Ruben" she's had "since the last time" she was "in New York City". So. That's something! Both came with fries which were great, in my opinion. Excellent seasoning. I will be back to try some of their other authentic German dishes. Solid 4 stars!
