I like this place for its convenience and deliciousness... and its WAY more upscale than your typical "cafe". Reminds me of cheesecake factory, and in fact they DO sell cheesecake factory cheesecake on the menu!
I split the lemon ricotta pasta with my friend... omg.... the noodles were so good... and the sauce was so rich and creamy... and there was a very strong TART taste of lemon in it... and the capers were soo good with it too... and not bad for under $15 I believe. It was included in one of their lunch specials. OMG: http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/grand-lux-cafe-las-vegas-6?select=Fr6t-TpAId1Oo5rX73oquQ#Fr6t-TpAId1Oo5rX73oquQ
The food did take awhile to come out... but in the meantime, I was just sipping the Fat Tuesdays and munching on the crunchy bread................
We even ate here "to go" -- there's a separate shop in the front of the restaurant that sells "to go" sandwiches, salads, small portions, and espresso beverages. Even for $6.99, the greek salad packed in a LOT of lettuce, flavor, toppings, cheese, etc. and took awhile to eat because there was SO MUCH LETTUCE packed into the plastic box. So I'd recommend it for a quick meal. The chicken salad sandwich ($5.99) was also surprisingly delicious, and the mayo wasn't all gross and light.
