  • Well it turns out the Pirates being bad is great for this review and great for anyone visiting Pittsburgh. Don't like baseball? It really doesn't matter. If you want to spend a nice day at the park, you can buy tickets for as low as $7 on some secondary marketplace websites and that makes it worth it. If you are buying at the window at a reasonable time on an average night you can get tickets there cheap as dirt as well. That just covers your entry though. What you are paying for is one of the most precious views of the city. One that really captures the skyline- A true photo op from virtually any seat. I could argue that your view from PNC park is better than up on Mt.Washington...besides the fact that you can see PNC and Heinz field from there...which makes that cooler. But this is a PNC park review. They actually have stepped up their game and have a unique combination of the two major food providers (Levi and Aramark) complimented by several food vendors that will satisfy your yinzer taste buds and your appetite. They have Burgers, Hot Dogs, gourmet BRGR, Primanti's,Sushi, BBQ, Pizza and to top it all off they have Ritas Italian ice and Dip'n Dots if you really want a chilly cherry on top of your proverbial baseball Sunday. Certainly not great for your wallet but food is pricey at ball-parks and that should be expected. Furthermore PNC park is great for kids (and there are special giveaway nights just for them) and even better on event nights(I recommend Zambelli firework night.) They also have a great gift shop and the whole building is worth walking around with a date if you please (it's more exciting than baseball) If you haven't bought your ticket yet, I don't know what you're waiting for. Go Buccos! Oh and Beer. They have beer, a lot of beer...everywhere- Not to mention, beer specials after wins in the outfield club, open to anyone .
