  • Monday night is burger night and the fries are out of this world! If you have never been here, I strongly recommend going on a Monday to have a great meal at a crazy low price! I am more of a beer drinker myself but the man who tends bar is top notch; I would argue he is the best bartender in Shadyside. He makes fantastic drinks and is always doing cool bar tricks. I'm not a huge fan of the menu and to be honest I only ever eat here on burger night because its such a great deal. The service is very hit or miss depending on who's waiting tables. As for the weekends, Shady "Groove" is the spot to get your dance on. Go upstairs on a Saturday night and you'll find a bunch of people dancing in a judgement free zone. There's always good music bumping and the crowd is usually pretty tame, it's a great environment! If you go next door to Mario's, you will soon find that many of the loyal patrons mistake the bar for fight-club. Stay safe, avoid drama, and check out Shady Grove for a fun night out.
