  • I saw I Love Lucy at the Royal Alex and it was fantastic. The theatre is a wonderful preserved piece of history. Absolutely stunning. I don't understand these people that complain about the close quarter seating..... that is the way it was and to change a thing would be a crime. To be polite, yes people were much "smaller" back in the day. People who have no appreciation for history would rather see those seats pulled and 3 foot wide recliners put in there. Maybe you should stick with movies at the Galaxie or go the ACC. Don't change a thing Royal Alex - we love you just the way you are.
