  • * The shop itself wasn't very visually pleasing but it was acceptable for a quick stop by for nails. I'm not sure if it's the owner or a worker that approached me, but a man approached us to get what kind of nail we wanted. He had a very sluggish and unmannered kind of look. He approached me with a look that said "So, what do you want so we can get this over with." No one in there had a welcoming smile but more like a "let's get this done" look. Some workers had trouble speaking English so some costumers actually had to translate what they were saying to another costumer. *The nail process was long but idk what I would expect since it's my first time getting acrylic nails. It was all fine until she glued on the fake nails on my nails. She glued them on with so much disregard of precision that the skin on my fingers were glued onto my actual nail; which resulted in her spending few minutes separating my skin from my nail. When putting on the acrylic portion, she made mine much thinner than a typical acrylic nail. Also, when I went in, I asked for Matte red and they said to pay $10 extra for it, so I complied, thinking that I would GET Matte red. Although, when she actually put the "matte" on my nails, it didn't not even look like anything matte. It was still shiny as can be. It did make it slightly duller that it originally was, but I still wanted legitimate matte. Overall, the end results were alright. I still had some bubbles trapped in my nail from her rushing through the process. In the next few weeks, due to her incompetence of carefully avoiding gluing my skin to my nail, I had a lot of cracking on the tips of my nails because of dryness from glue. * Of course, I can't give this nail store a complete one star because my experience could just be a bad one due to one worker. So don't hold my word against them. But will I ever come back? Never. I think I'll stick with my regular nail location or I'd find a new shop.
