  • Normally great... but things have been going down hill. I've been eating here since they reopened and for the most part haven't had problems other than when they run out of veggie burgers. However, last night was the nail in the coffin for myself and a few friends. We took my mom there for her birthday at her request and had some of the worst service I've experienced...I know it's becoming an unfortunate habit for me to get bad service no matter where I go. So we wait 20 minutes for a table, order some drinks and Apps - the waitress must be hard of hearing because she had issues with taking our orders and kept asking what we said and bringing the wrong stuff to the table. We got Pig wings, Fried Pickles, and Disco Pimento Fries - it took 30 minutes for three plates of fried food, everything was good but they forgot the gravy on the fries so we had to send them back and they were soggy. Dinner took another 20 plus minutes and three trips to serve 5 of the 6 guests. My friend's burger made multiple trips around the restaurant while I waited for a condiment that should have been on my veggie burger. By the time I got it my food was cold, and the fries weren't crispy to begin with. My mom's food was lukewarm but she was a good sport about it. When my friend finally asked where her burger was she was told it was coming, and then the waitress asked her what it was that she ordered. Then a burger came, the wrong burger - hers was the one making laps around the diner. So they bring her that very burger, not a fresh one, but the one that has been to every table but ours and is now ice cold (they did comp it), but Jeeze, make a fresh burger!!!! Since I'm moving soon I am disappointed that this will be my last memory of one of the places I loved best here in Charlotte.
