We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place. I must admit, I booked the hotel a month in advance and since it was a holiday weekend prices were crazy high near the Strip. I was happy to find this place reasonably priced, off the Strip, not a casino (avoiding the cigarette smoke) and the icing on the cake was that they didn't charge a resort fee. Score!
We didn't have to worry about transportation. Hyatt Place offers an airport shuttle and a shuttle to the Strip. The shuttle to the airport runs every thirty minutes at the top and bottom of the hour. The shuttle to the Strip runs in the afternoon and evening with the last shuttle leaving the hotel at 12:15am and picking up at Planet Hollywood at 12:20am. It was super convenient where we were dropped off at which was the escalators up to the Miracle Mile shops.
The room was clean and we had a room with a Vegas Strip view. That was super cool! We spent more time at the hotel on this trip since our feet needed a break from all the walking around we did.
The breakfast was delightful. Nice to wake up and have a warm breakfast ready. They had the standard: eggs, one day bacon the next sausage links, one day pancakes the next day waffles, oatmeal, bagels, bread, cereal, fruit and cottage cheese.
The staff here was very friendly and courteous. We felt welcomed. Even the shuttle drivers were nice! We had a great stay here!
