  • I wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, I never got the opportunity to. After procuring two referrals, I called the salon a handful of months ago. I was told that prior to actually making an appointment, they had to contact my referrals to ensure that I knew them. Whatever. Well, I never got a call back. A month later, I called again to make an appointment. This time, the girl who fielded my call did not even ask if I had a referral, just went ahead and made me an appointment. Ok, great! Until I received my text confirmation, which was for the incorrect service. I emailed and called them back to correct the error, and the receptionist apologized, but said that since I wanted my acrylic set soaked off, my appointment time I originally had scheduled was too late. So they were going to cancel, but should the time slot ahead of me open up, they would let me know, but would be calling me back to reschedule my appointment anyway. I'm sure that you can guess that I never received a call back. Finally, just this past week I decided to give them one final shot. They were having a free event for new customers. So I called to make an appointment for a pedicure. I also really wanted an acrylic set, but was informed that the service was not part of the event they were holding. So I asked if there were any appointments open the following day. I was put on hold for literally five seconds, and the receptionist returned to the line and replied "We don't have any appointments available, ok? Byeeeee!" and hung up. When I received my text confirmation for my pedicure, it was for a gel manicure. Are you kidding me?! I promptly cancelled my appointment and vowed to write up a Yelp review on my experiences. Luckily, a friend recommended a fabulous salon on the Northside. I have seen photos of the work this salon does and it appears to be top-notch, but they could benefit from better customer service. Their poor customer service and communication overshadows anything positive.
