| - Wish my experience would have been a better one here, I read all the good reviews so I gave them a try on Saturday morning. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I called and made an appointment for Saturday. it is awesome that they are open on Saturday. Came in was greeted quickly. Everything was going smooth. As soon as I met the doctor who was going to help me, everything just fell apart. I will quickly sum up the reasons for why I walked out feeling so confused and annoyed.
I don't have insurance. Like most or some people in this country. I walked in feeling pain and discomfort on my teeth. I found a coupon on there website that granted a free exam and image if treatment was done. The doctor examined the tooth. Mentioned to me a root canal would solve the issue, I mentioned again to her I had no insurance and I couldn't pay +1000 plus dollars out of pocket for a root canal. Then she mentioned that my tooth may be leaking, She never even bothered to clear this up with me. I have no idea what a filling leaking even is. Then she said she would charge 500 for fillings on 2 teeth and medication. Did the dentist even hear me when I told her I had pain on 1 teeth. 1 not 2. After some back and forward she said she would recommend I don't remove the teeth just yet. And TBH my teeth that was creating pain, is like 70 percent filling. I didn't take care of my teeth when I was young. So they quoted me 175 for extraction. After some thinking and knowing that I would ultimately travel out of the country to get other work done on other teeth a month from now, I was leaning towered the extraction. I asked if she could extract it. She then refused to do the extraction after the quote was stated to me by her nurse. She didn't bother to tell me anything else. I didn't even see her after this. Her nurse was mumbling things to her on the other side of where I was sitting. They then tried one more time to get me hooked on the idea that I would re-fill my teeth, and gave me "discounts". After there "help" it was still roughly 450 dollars out that day. I said no. I was already fed up, and in discomfort. Not a good practice to do business with your clients when they are sitting in pain. It seemed very very fishy, I have had major work on my teeth before, and this practice by her was very, MONEY GREEDY. They could see the dollar signs and not the patients pain.
The final thing that ticked me off was that there financial person, spoke to me and said that unfortunately they aren't "cheap". I wasn't looking for something "cheap". I was looking to ease my pain. She told me she would have the dentist come over and even out my bite, and would only charge me the 29.99 for the exam and image since I wouldn't get there "treatment". I was ready to leave and said fine. Next thing you know she comes back, told me that the doctor was going to charge 150 dollars to even out my bite on the side that was causing pain!!! They must be crazy I thought. From $1000, to $500, to $450, to $175 then backed off after they gave me a price, to $150 dollars to even out my bite. Ridicules. I left payed my 30 dollars and was still in pain.
The most interesting thing is that I got a second opinion today, dentist told me that there was no way he would have ever fill my teeth up again. He was so upset. All they see here is $$$$$$$$ signs. Won't ever be back again. They could keep my 30 dollars and keep there bad practices.
