| - Attention to all you BOOK LOVERS who still love to hold a book and flip pages! There is a hidden treasure in this public library: The Bookstore. Located at the back area to the left next to the teenage section. The best place to find all kinds of books for mostly $1. You can find books ranging from non-fiction like religion, travel, biography, history, cookbooks, self-help, references, academic books, sports, Etc. There are also a whole range of fiction books, children's books and magazines such as the National Geographic.
This bookstore are run by volunteers and they are all very friendly and helpful. Open daily. Books, magazines, dvds, CDs and LPs are all donated from the public community. You can donate any kind of books you no longer need and want.
Some of the books are out-dated but they are mostly in good condition. Some are still brand new. You can also find books that are a few years old or recent editions. You definitely can't beat the price! Only $1.
All proceeds go directly back to the Clark County Public Library so you are helping a good cause. As for the library itself, it is a large library. Plenty of seats to read and study. Although I have to say the smell is less than desirable. That's my only complaint.
Check out this Bookstore. Definitely a hidden treasure for book lovers.
