| - This place is so convenient to go to, right in walking distance from where I live, right off of Little Sugar Creek Greenway, and in a great little shopping center: The Met. If you're looking for helpful and friendly instructors, a clean studio, and a friendly vibe, I recommend coming here! I love that these classes are a mix between Pilates, yoga, ballet, weight training, and cardio. You really get a full work out and definitelyyyy break a sweat. Not going to lie, sometimes I feel like I need to be wheeled down the street in a wheelchair after these classes, haha!
The studio is not large but not super small to where you feel on top of anyone. I also like that there's room for everyone to have a spot at the bar. There's a chalkboard that lists what you need for that day's class so it's really easy to find the materials you need. They have towels and mats so you never have to lug your own over. Each class does require grippy socks, though, so you need to bring your own or they have really cute ones for purchase!
The instructors are really nice -- willing to help you make sure you're doing the movements right and encouraging on the mic to get you to push up an extra inch or push yourself a few more seconds until the next move/rep. I never feel embarrassed if I can't execute something perfectly.
I do the 5 class package so that I can come when it best suits my schedule and I have never felt pressured to purchase bigger bundles than that, which is great.
Tips: Entrance is via the Greenway side of the shops. Stretch stretch stretch before class. Bring a big bottle of water and keep it with you. Keep a towel with you, as well. Wear yoga leggings vs yoga pants, sweat pants or shorts because they're easier to wear for the movements and watching your execution in the mirror. Lastly, pick a spot at the bar with a mirror in front of you and someone in view of you, it really helps!
