My two dogs came home very happy after their four-day stay at this doggie hotel. I am pretty picky about who I have care for my animals when I am away. I live out of town and usually have a friend stay at my house. For Thanksgiving that was not an option so since I was going to Las Vegas to spend the holidya with my family and friends, I looked into boarding options there.
This place stood out because it does not kennel the dogs and it has a setting that is 'just like home'. There are cameras set up so you can watch your dog interact with other dogs in the yard. (Sometimes the sun is shining along one wall and you cannot see your dogs but that was a minor problem). One time I had not seen my dog for about half an hour so I called and a staff person went out in the yard to see where my dog was. She decided to hide out under a play set! I appreciated the immediate attention.
My dogs did come home really dirty and matted from all of the playing. I don't know where the dirt came from because the yard appears to be all grass. One of my dogs is very social and I am sure she was in the middle of everything but I cannot figure out what my other dog did the whole time. I do know they were both very happy and well-cared for, and I will be using this place again if I need a home away from for my dogs.
