This is a gym. It is not a spa. It is not a baby sitter. It is where people that want to change themselves or better themselves come to work and hard. If you do not have it in you, you may find someone here to inspire you to really focus each day on living a healthier you.
I grew up in Elyria and I have seen this gym grow, move and grow again by the college. It may have new owners. I don't know. Sure some of the equipment is old and not fancy, but it got beat up the way it is by someone or people that really loved it and used it. Take the hint. There is something to be said about old from a guy that is 52 and proud to still bodybuild. I learned to toss weights here as a kid. And, I have a couple of trophies to prove I never give up.
I only visit from time to time or holidays, but it is always a joy and a surprise to come home to this. Keep on training hard Buckeyes. We are depending on it and gyms that can weather the storm and still be alive. In a day when fancy health clubs and spas with members that have horrible habits, no training on equipment and rude behavior. This is still a gem to come home to see.
Enjoy your gift.
