  • I had high hopes for our trip to our Niece's Wedding in Ireland. Booked thru AAA flying from LAX thru Charlotte to Dublin. Made it to Charlotte and due to a mechanical issue we were delayed 45 min. 2.5 hours 4 hrs then cancelled. Communication was terrible, go here, go there, lack of customer service personnel and an hour and half wait. This an opportunity for an airline to shine and they dulled it up big time!! Our options are to complain but I choose to make sure our elected officials make sure that passenger rights are upheld and improved. I also have a choice where I spend my travel $$, not American
