| - HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!DO NOT TAKE CAR HERE!!!!
So i just bought a 2013 lincoln mks with 51k miles, from koons in virginia. And also bought THE BEST extended warranty that they sell, which is provided by "ally" AS WELL as the factory 1k miles/30 day warranty.
-First day, the gps doesnt work. They said it was the SD card. They ordered it, i waited for a week on it. When it arrived, they installed it then said it doesnt work. So it must be the gps hub. Instead of looking into it immediately. They INSISTED that i pick up my car, and make ANOTHER appointment. But they were bookt so i had to make my appointment a week out. THEN a week later, when they got the hub and installed it, they said THAT wasnt the problem either. And that i needed to pick up my car NOW, even tho i was 3 hours away, en route to visit my sick grandmother in virginia. Then when i told them the situation, and that i couldnt pick my car up till the morning, the service associate began trying to belittle me & got VERY rude, disrespectful, and even started to get PERSONAL with the insults, insulting my mother and family as well. Before they refused to service my vehicle and to take it elsewhere.
(This had been an ongoing situation, it started back around thanksgiving. And that major disrespectful incident just happend about week ago.)
-also there is a ticking in the engine, when i took it to them, the mechanic says is "normal for a car with this many miles"..... cough cough.. i graduated college "suma cum laude" for cars. AND the last 6 cars i have owned have been brand new, and i drove them ALL from brand new, all the way up to 100k miles before i traded them in. And NOT ONE of the cars made any ticking noises. Well wait, i lied. My LAST car did rite around 65k miles, and it turned out yo be that the top half of my engine needed rebuilt. But the mechanic at Lincoln swears "its normal & theres nothing he can do about it". (1st problem)
-next!! Theres a loud electronic whistling sound coming from the rear of my car anytime the engine is running. Which the mechanic ALSO told me is "normal for a car with this many miles" which THIS TIME i can promise, NO CARS i have ever owned have made a sound like this. And i have owned ALOT of cars, old school AND new school(im currently on my 14th car). Im assuming its a wiring problem? I will see when i take the car to another dealership tomorrow.
-and to think mechanics get paid GOOD MONEY, by the hour. So WHY was he refusing to fix my car, and trying to pretend hes stupid?? Does he NOT Want to make money??? Does he think im stupid??
!!!!!DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!
