| - Hard to give a star rating on this one, as there was much to do before it was finished, and I would recommend this company, just say you should read the entire review to understand some things.
The finished product is amazing!!! love the floors and the counter tops, and the pool decking looks pretty good even though I was expecting some of the more "blah" areas to have more life, still a major upgrade. Its how long it took to get to that point that is the problem.
Cory and Chris both were receptive to making it right and tried to make it right, even though it felt like I was putting them out. The counters didn't dry properly the first time, and i was told originally it would be 24 hours, then it turned into 3 days then into 5 and then Chris finally came over to reapply something in hopes of making them dry. They still did not dry completely. Finally after 3 weeks Chris came over again, and i believe started over on the counters? what was left in the end was a mess, but the counters were fully dry in less than 72 hours. Now I did send them pics and Chris did say he would come over again, but that is the last I heard from them, He never followed up on that, and I sit w/ sloppy work. I get that this epoxy stuff will bleed, but it shouldn't have bled onto my dishwasher or the bottom of the cabinet doors that are almost on the floor, or i shouldn't have big swooshes of the epoxy on my walls. I had to pay them half up front (totally acceptable) and they asked for the other half when they were done the 1st time. If you use them, I would wait until you are completely satisfied, as I had to clean up after them 3x by taking the tape/paper down and now repaint areas that are messed up. That is time out of my life that I can't charge them for. That is what i paid them for, and if you are "willing" to clean up the mess you made, how about you follow up on it?
I was told the floors would create some dust, however created so much it set off my monitored smoke alarms and the fire dept. was called. So just be careful if you have a monitored alarm. This is in no way their fault, just a courteous warning that it could happen, and the Fire Dept. doesn't need to be called to a non fire.
The Crew was also very nice, friendly and courteous to me and my house.
All in all the price was right, and the floors and counter tops in my house keep getting complimented. I have also learned something along the way, and its a valuable lesson. I absolutely love the finished product and I would recommend them, just now I know what to expect.
if you want pics, just ask. I can show you the before/after and the mess, but dang, it looks good.
