Spent Labor Day weekend staying here. Rounding up to 3 stars...
PRO:
-complementary bottle water each day of stay
-OK magazine in room (pool reading!)
-location on Strip and to Miracle Mile
-comfortable king bed
CON:
-messed up room reservation, didn't have my room that I reserved so instead of 2 queens, got 1 king and a sleeping cot, but the receptionist said the next 2 nights she'd reserve a different room for us
-after checkout out our room and realized there was so much room, we decided to keep the room with the king bed so stood in line for about 30 min to talk to 1 out of the 2 receptionists working the desk and when the receptionist was done with another party I stepped up to the desk. He said "It'll be a moment" and I said, "that's fine" and then he looks up at me and says, "...so you'll have to step back in line." If it's just going to be a moment, why do I have to step back in line and then walk up to him again when he's done? Ego trip!
-pool
-no wifi...not even at Starbucks on the Casino floor
-didn't stay in a themed-room (yeah, I know it's cheesy, but isn't it what they're known for?)
The main thing I was unhappy about was waiting in line. I don't understand it. It was Labor Day weekend so they should have staffed up to accommodate everyone checking in. 2 people was definitely not enough to handle the crowd Saturday night. It was RIDICULOUS!!
