  • Distressed fruit & vegetables, often rotten inside. They take it back but I don't care to have to make another trip and be their quality control person. They have none & expect the customer to sort through the good from the bad. Often, you can't tell. Their meat stinks half the time. Husband has no sense of smell & often brings home meat that wreaks like H.... Their stuff isn't always bad but, too often is. I also found that their bulk nuts were infected. I put them directly in an air tight container but eggs later hatched. Bulk bins have been proven to be unsanitary. Everybody else has long gotten rid of them. Sprouts needs to wake up. They also carry whatever produce they can from Mexico, to save money. I won't eat that either. Nobody who cares about their health eats anything from Mexico. I will not buy their fruit, produce or meat. I rarely go anymore because there is little I would buy. I do stop in occasionally but only about once every 3 or 4 months. They call themselves a Farmers Market. They are NOT a farmers market. They are a very small regular grocery store. Nothing special about them. Don't let them fool you.
