  • I've come to this festival for the past 3 years and have only been in the park for the day and evening festivities. These on their own are worthy of 5 stars between the entertainment, vendors, food and of course fireworks, but it wasn't until this year that I fully understood how amazing Paint the Town Red was. How did this year differ? Well this year I got to see the parade, and not only did I get to see the parade, but I (along with a gaggle of friends, yelpers and my dog) got to actually BE in the parade. I don't know about you but all those years watching the Santa Claus Parade in Toronto thinking "jeez those kids in the float are so lucky, how come I can't be in the parade"... and then I was! Amazing! This is easily the best parade of any kind outside of the city area. Santa Claus and PRIDE have their place but Paint The Town Red was an amazing spectacle all on it's own! I had a great time seeing the parade from a whole different perspective and I'm excited to come back in future years!
