  • OH Yeah, wait a minute Mister Postman! Hit or miss to be honest at this Post Office. The past 6 months or so I have been selling items on eBay. I started just by selling a few items I can no longer fit or get use out off. Now, I find myself buying things from thrift stores and Goodwill with sole intent on selling them for a profit online. I do not want to toot my own horn but I've gotten pretty good at it! Now that I am shipping more and making more visits to the Post Office, the service can be so-so at times. My first trip there, the woman who assisted me was Pam. She was incredibly helpful and pointed out details that a first time shipper may not know. She showed me what packaging was used for what and even aided me in taping a stubborn envelope down. Awesome experience! Now the next time I visited, not the case. Not sure if Pam was having a rough day or what, but she was the opposite of helpful. Instead, she responded to my questions with 1-word answers and did not seem as though she wanted to offer any suggestions to a confused customer. A frustrating situation because I needed someone to point me in the right direction and she made it seem like I was inconveniencing her and everyone else who was waiting in line. There should never be a case like that when it is your job to show people how to mail things. Fast forward to my most recent trip and things were much better with Pam. She was smiling and was apparently having a good day. However, I finally figured out the ropes on my own and didn't need any assistance. So I smiled back, and went on about my business. Overall, nothing WOW about this Post Office. Depending on the day some of the workers are polite and helpful, other days their just not in the mood to go above and beyond. Seems to be that way at most Post Offices I've been too. Next time you are in need to mail or ship a package, make sure to give the person helping you a big smile! It could make your experience a great one!
