  • There's nothing like a piping hot bowl of pho on a cold winter night. The restaurant even starts you out with a nice pot of tea once you come in. Normally I just order a bowl of pho because I know it'll come out quickly but since I was starving today I decided to try out one of their pork+shrimp spring rolls too. In hindsight, that was a bad choice. Although they were supposed to be cold, it had a tingle of the ingredients inside being undercooked and the pork was actually just the same type of ham you would find in a salad bar. It wasn't what I expected. I got the #19 (beef and tripe pho) and my friend got the #20 beef balls and it came out smelling pretty nicely and in an extra large bowl. The traditional uncooked bean curd and basil leaves accommodated it but as I started to eat more and more of it, I feel that the taste began to taste marginally...blander. Regardless, for $7.50 for the #19 and $7.25 for the #20, it was a pretty good value and I personally prefer this over its rival down the street, Tram's kitchen. Just remember that this place is CASH ONLY
