  • Melange for you home is exactly that. For those of you who didn't pass french class, melange means mixture. And you can certainly get a mixture of stuff for your home at this relatively new store. Make no mistake, this place has great decorations but it comes with a price. You probably wouldn't want to furnish your entire house with things from Melange, but on those days when you are sick of your dark and tiny basement apartment, it is fun to go here and imagine. (Future birthday gift idea: I would totally love a lamp that is the same price as my rent.) Last time my mom came to visit me in Calgary, this was one of her favourite stores. It is a great place to find some wonderful fabic, pillows and things for your patio. I practically had to drag her out of here. You are welcome Visa Bill Collectors. The staff here was really nice, but just a little too chatty for me. I like to chat as much as anyone, but sometimes I really do just want to browse and take it all in. If you are looking for a unique and quality gift for your mom, grandparents or strangely old friend, then you'll probably find it at Melange for the Home!
