  • Highly recommend this locals spa! I also highly recommend a Spa on the Strip, but let's talk about why GVR is special. I had a pinched nerve which caused me to lose feeling in my right hand from Nov '15 to June'16.. that's when it ended cause I got a deep tissue massage from Ivan. In those eight months leading up to my massage by Ivan, I had been to my pcp, neurologist, chiropractor, vascular & holistic dr. along w/ having an EMG, blood work & x-rays. No one could figure it out. Immediately after I saw Ivan, I could use my hand again! I swear, I told him he had miracle hands. Best facial is the Hydrafacial 25m $120 $125 though it's short it is rejuvenating & two weeks later people are still telling me I look so fresh faced. Best spa attendants Silvia & Meeka. I just found Jenelle my new beautician in June & love her! The spa has separate parking & pool from the hotel pool & beach. A short lovely walk on a trail surrounded by rose bushes. The trail to the salon/spa from the hotel has a Napa feel of a mini grape vineyard. The spa also has a very cozy coed area conveniently accessible from the men's and women's locker rooms. For qualifying treatments locals get a 30% off Monday through Thursday & 20% off FSS. I've been coming here since they opened & my only complaint is that they used to have a specific spa menu with a tasty healthy Greek Salad & Tofu Salsa & Pita! Miss that! I left the same review on the GVR & Spa Yelp cause I think it's the same place...
