My second visit to Shula's and this experience was nothing like the first. Celebrating 2 years of sobriety and the pressure to order alcoholic beverages was disturbing. Felt like we were treated differently than all the tables around us that we consuming alcohol. Beverages sat empty and our main waiter only visited our table again after I gestured to get him to the table. The secondary wait staff constantly reached over in front of us to pick up plates and serve coffee. Two of three Filets were over cooked. Sides of Lobster Mac n Cheese and asparagus were great. Ordered molten lava cake for desert. Then we waited 20 minutes after our desert for our bill. I actually called the main number to the restaurant to get the manager to our table because no waiters were in sight for such a long time. We spent almost 3 hours at the table while other larger groups around us arrived and departed. When we complained to the manager the only thing we heard was how the wait staff said there was no delay. Our bill was comped for 2 coffees and the desert. I have been to some much nicer steak restaurants in the area and the service and food have not failed after numerous visits.
