Park ranger gave me a parking citation on the side that closes at sunset - many people were exiting as I was returning to my car and exit at 6:00PM. The sun was still setting and my citation was executed at 6:10PM, which is obviously 10 minutes from when I arrived at my car. This document was falsified by the ranger (badge 10133), so now we all have to attend a court hearing out of principle.
On a separate occasion we wanted to pick a grapefruit - most were still green but some were turning yellow (ripe). There were people picking tons of them so we wanted to hide one a try. Picked one, opened it and ate it - so sweet and ripe despite not being 100% yellow. Ranger aggressively drove up to me, singled us out and shouted "do not pick the fruit - it is not ripe!"
We picked one fruit... and we're devouring it. I just don't understand the purpose of these rangers when they are harassing people who respectfully enjoy the park.
