| - Sooo, my boyfriend and I love trying new places in Vegas. Heard about the LinQ, so we decided to try it out! We're super easy-going people and have liked everywhere we've stayed (Aria, Venetian, Flamingo, MGM, Vdara, Mirage..etc.). Unfortunately, this hotel was a total bummer.
We were excited because it seemed as though this would have been a new, modern, cool hotel (based on the pictures). Def not.
My boyfriend and I both work in a restaurant so we know about customer service. We make sure to be extremely nice and friendly everywhere we go. Right when we checked in the lady wasn't friendly and seemed to be annoyed with her job. We were excited about being in Vegas and she killed our vibes. She literally did not smile once haha.
The elevators were SLOW and had trash on the floor. When we got into our room, it looked "old trying to be new." It didn't feel very clean. There were moths that we had to kill each night...there must have been a nest or something. Also, the bathroom had no lotion. I have never stayed in a room that doesn't offer lotion. I never thought it would have been a big deal, but the dry air out there made us both pretty miserable.
The next morning we left early to go get breakfast (9am). We put the "YEP clean our room" sign on our door handle. By the time we got back to the hotel (6:30pm) no one had touched our room. Another bummer. Then after 7pm, a lady knocked on our door and apologized that she hadn't been to our room. She explained that she was the only one cleaning rooms. She gave us extra water bottles which was nice.
The only thing good about this place was the location...kind of. Its hidden behind the flamingo, but its a pretty short walk to get to the strip.
Overall experience was meh. We don't recommend coming here.
