I did a lightning visit of the Cleveland Museum of Art when I was there in October on business. My schedule only allowed about 90 minutes, but what an amazing 90 minutes.
The new building and the covered courtyard are amazing. But the best of course was the collection. We hit Impressionism and pos-Impressionism. BAM!!! Tis was as good as any collection I've seen in the US -- and the ambience in beautiful well-lighted rooms with minimal crowds was extraordinary.
Now I've got to go back to Cleveland and spend serious time at CMA.
Did I mention that admission is free?
