  • This used to be my usual for getting my nails done - I used to get bio gel and the girl who did them is always on her A game. She's a natural and she pays excellent attention to detail on your nails, making sure the thickness is even, the tips are shaped the same, and the cuticles are on point. My manicures with her always were more than worth it, but I started moving into just getting shellac manicures and some of the other staff just don't have the amount of expertise she has. When you walk in, the most experienced nail estheticians are seated by the door while the younger ones are down at the far end. Make sure to come early or book in your appointment especially after work - because they're a always a line up and a lot of walk-ins. Their selection of nail polish isn't as great as other salons though and they need to replace some of their old polishes, because one time they gave me one that was so stale that it wouldn't apply evenly. Come here for quick service and meticulous attention to detail for bio-gel designs downtown, by not so much for the massage and relaxation deal you get in hotel manicures.
