  • I won't be able to say anything that hasn't already been said, but I will say that this bakery is the best of the best; in the Pittsburgh area, and everywhere else too. When visiting family across the country for various holidays, we are always expected to bring the desserts from Oakmont! Their cookies, their sandwiches, their cakes, their donuts, their pies... All of it is divine. A few of my personal favorites are the almond cupcakes (simply perfection), their cream filled punckis (sp? But it's all about the icing...) and their mini fruit tart (light and refreshing). Their pricing is hands down, without a doubt, the best in Pittsburgh and the surrounding area. 95% of the time, their staff has a kind word and a smile on their face, regardless of the gigantic lines of customers they face. Love supporting local, love supporting this family business.
