I went to Christopher Diamond to get my engagement ring resized which they did quickly and well and then went back to look at wedding bands. I didn't feel pressured to make a decision and they were thoughtful and respectful when making suggestions. I went to another store to compare bands and prices and was basically bombarded with everything that was wrong with my ring and everything needed to be redone, re pronged, re-everything or I would lose my diamonds. They were not kind or helpful and while they recognized my ring as vintage they had no knowledge of vintage settings. After this horrible experience I went back to Christopher Diamond who stayed open past closing because I was so distraught and inspected my ring and told me exactly what would be done to ensure the middle diamond wouldn't fall out- but assured me it wasn't an emergency like the other store had. Myranda was specific about how they would keep my vintage ring looking unique even if they refurbished it and made me feel like I have something really special while the other store only pointed out it's flaws.
I appreciate their candor and it is obvious they know what they are talking about because they are patient and specific. They also do things in house and offered to do the work at a much lower price than the other store.
