  • Finally getting around to reviewing Bruno's... I first found this place in 2002. I was rebuilding the W.44th street bridge and we started checking out every place in the neighborhood. So, all dirty with jackhammer dust me and the rest of my construction crew(quite a motley crew I may add) stumbled into Bruno's on our 1/2 hour lunch. We were a little taken aback to see people in suits, including a Cleveland councilman, in this tiny place on a weekday for lunch. We immediately felt out of place, underdressed, and too dirty to eat here.... Well, until the staff, the councilman, and Bruno all thanked us for the job we were doing in the neighborhood. They were very gracious, sat us quickly, got us our check early since they knew we had limited time. I have taken my wife, as well as some of our friends here. NOT once has Bruno's ever disappointed me, my wife, or our friends. This place is by far my favorite Italian restaurant in the city of Cleveland!!
