  • I have no shame in saying that I love a good cake donut. If you ask me "Raised or cake", I will always say "CAKE DONUTS!". My first job as a teen was working in a donut shop, so it's part of my foodie tapestry. I love the concept here at Amy's that all donuts are made to order. I'm serious. I will say it again, made to order! First you choose, white cake or chocolate, which is made with Ghirardelli Cocoa. Then you choose the frosting and toppings. Sounds great so far, right? It gets even more amazing... They go to the back and get this... They make your donuts fresh, on the spot!! No more donuts that have been sitting there for hours. No more relying on someone elses idea of the perfect donut toppings. You decide! It's like Donut Nirvana! The donuts are seriously delicious! They are hot, crunchy, soft, sweet, etc all at the same time! I tried different toppings and was thinking of sharing but I got insanely greedy and ate them over the course of the day. I am looking forward to trying other creations as well as the donut sundae! Also I am glad Amy's is in my hood!
