So I'm on this marrow bone kick, and The Tavern has the best marrow bone dish in the city. The oysters are awesome, especially the mignonette. We had all four of the bikinis, and my favorites were the smoked salmon and the ham-and-pickle. Based on the menu, I will be able to eat here a dozen times before I come close to trying everything on this menu that I want. The wine list is not huge but it's comprehensive and bizarrely inexpensive. The service is exceptional (sit with Sam if you can). There is nothing about this place not to love.
