  • I was disappointed in the quality of the pastries at this place. We stopped in for a late afternoon sweet snack and were delighted at the selection of cakes in the case. I chose a raspberry mouse and chocolate which was dry perhaps it was old? My mom had a hazelnut and chocolate mousse cake on praline crust which was also dry although the crust was good. My sister's strawberry shortcake was the only seemingly fresh pastry we ordered that day. The prices here are on the high side and they won't even serve you tap water in a glass if you request. You must purchase the bottled water so don't expect to save a few $$ on your drink. Maybe I came on an off day because it looks like several other reviewers didn't have the freshness problem I did.
