Where do I begin... just a bunch of girls hungover and hangry and our stomachs led us to District One. To our surprise this place was open on Labor Day... YES! It's meant to be.
Traditional Asian dishes with a twist... here's what we had on our table (for 3 girls) Garlic Serrano Wings - oh my word. Crispy & garlicky and just the right amount of spice. This one is delicious. Coconut Pork Belly - comes with an egg, rice, and some pickled veggies. There was about 3 pork belly cubes per order, this one was good but reminded me of just your regular adobo. Garlic noodles (added shrimp) - YES! Chowed this down in less than 5 minutes. Oxtail Fried Rice - GET THIS! They don't skimp on the oxtail meat, so flavorful, and it's a huge serving, they top it off with an egg and everything is perfection. The Big Bone Soup - huge bones with bone marrow in a pho broth, so overwhelming in size, but so comforting and good.
Customer service is on point. The workers are helpful and happy. I really like the vibe here. The restaurant is clean, the food is served at a timely manner. It's worth the wait definitely.
