I was hard core craving Mexican food and had previously bookmarked this place so we decided to check it out.
Parking was no issue and we were seated right away. We received a bottle of water and a bowl of chips without even having to ask for it. The salsa bar was extensive but many of the salsas had run out. The available salsas were amazing. Especially the pecan salsa, which I had never had before, was awesome. Creamy and rich.
I got the Tlaloc cactus burrito (can be made vegan or vegetarian). My first time eating cactus! The Tlaloc was yummy but made with too much oil, I had grease dripping down my hands while eating it. The oil was a definite turn off and 1/5 of it would have sufficed to pan-fry the veggies. That's why I'm deducting a star.
I'll be back to try a fish taco or quesadilla.
