  • This place used to be a favorite of mine until last night. We walked in and immediately noticed food and dirt on the floors and most of the chairs were stained. The candle on our table had no wax only a wick and was dirty inside. Who puts this on a table? Even the aprons worn by the servers looked like they have not been cleaned. The floor was sticky and looks like it is in need of a refinishing. OK. That aside. They were out of the scallops and oysters. It was only 5:30 so what's the excuse?? Our server looked like she was about to fall asleep. The pizza was just OK and the beet salad had very few actual beets and was drenched in dressing. The guy who delivered the appetizers, the bruschetta I have to say was good, just put them on the table and didn't say a word. With all these great restaurants in Charlotte, especially right in that area, go elsewhere, save your money.
