So my wife and I finally ate here after passing it so many times walking through the Mandalay bay, and I'm disappointed.
The food was pretty weak, I don't know if it was just off or if it's the way that it is here. I won't be back to do it again.
For appetizer we had the tuna crisp things and the foie gras. Both were pretty plain, and didn't actually do a whole lot for either of us. Matter of fact both were kind of a waste of time.
My wife had the wagyu filet, and I had the wagyu rib cap. So to basically describe the flavor perfectly...I had to ask for salt. I have never had to ask for salt at a steak place. There was no flavor. It was literally flavorless. The only flavor was that slight burnt oil flavor that occurs just when the oil/butter starts to blacken and turn a little greasy. It wasn't greasy, but it did have a hint of that flavor.
The service was friendly and efficient. The fries that they serve were awesome. The restaurant itself looks nice on the inside. The food was bs. I left and got some dessert at Fleur. I couldn't take a chance on anything else there.
