  • First I will start off by saying my sales guy Paul Fried at Van Chevrolet 8585 E Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd Scottsdale, AZ 85260, was very nice and professional. Pertaining to the rest of my experience was EXTREMELY disappointing. I made it known to both Paul and his GM that I was only interested in coming in if they could make a deal with me (my numbers, credit and trade-in value would need to be worked out BEFORE I would come in). I gave them everything they needed, including my vehicle info, income, SS#, GM Family First Certificate Authorization, etc. I also picked out the vehicle through the special internet pricing. The GM called me back and said my deal, for that vehicle, would work and I was approved, with a payment for just over $400. With no money down and 0% interest. He knew the particular vehicle I wanted. Make, model and Vin # and told me to come in to fill out the necessary paperwork and I could take it home, that day. (Sat Jan 27th). He said, if for some reason I didn't like it...I could be on my way and he would give me a gas card, for test driving and my time. NOTHING could be further from the truth. I arrived at 8:00am Sat 1/27 expecting to complete the paperwork on my new vehicle and finally was informed that it was gone. SOLD. I said, that was supposed to be saved for me. That's why they scheduled an appointment for me at 8am, in the first place. Or I would have never come in and wasted all that time. I said I would take another vehicle - same as the one I saw initially. They said they couldn't honor the internet price on this one; "even though it was the exact make, model, year etc; as the one I wanted." I was already starting to think twice about this - but they kept assuring me they would get me another great deal. So, over 3 1/2 hours later, they said they couldn't make the deal...but not without several attempts of wanting me to put a down payment (2k) and increasing the monthly payments. We were going round and round with that one. I kept saying "no" and they promised they would only run my credit report one time. They assured me. That's all I gave my permission for. Now I have several inquiries on my credit report - they just threw my credit out there. And of course, it was over 8k more, than the other initial vehicle. Very poor customer service. I even emailed them because I never received my gas card. It is now Feb 10th and no gas card. And no response what so ever. My son leases a 2016 GMC Terrain that I co-signed for him in Mar of 2016. That was through GMC Buick. I had no problems there and make more income now. I will never return to that Van Chevrolet ever again...nor recommend to anyone else. I felt as though the GMs were badgering me trying to strong arm me. Again, not my sales guy...just everyone else. Major thumbs down. I wanted to give no stars- but it wouldn't let me submit.
