I wanted to like this place so much. After having "snoh" in Phoenix I was excited to finally have a place on the west side. The place itself is adorable and well decorated. The service wasn't the best, everyone seemed nice except for the cashier who was helping us. We ordered two different snows and the thing that bothered me the most is that the snow is not customizable like it is at "snoh". They have different flavors of snow but the toppings are pre-picked for you and the cashier told me I couldn't make changes to it. I just found it strange because I've never been to a place that hasn't allowed you to pick your own flavor and toppings, and I've tried plenty of places on the east side. The snow itself is a lot more frozen than I'm used to. It's not as fluffy and light and just seemed over frozen. We were biting down on frozen chunks and it felt more like I was eating shaved ice. They give you the smallest amount of toppings so after a couple of bites I was left with plain, crunchy snow and didn't even want to finish the rest. I gave them two stars because I feel like if they improve their menu, snow and customer service they could be a really great spot on this side of town. I don't think I will return anytime soon though and will just have to make the longer drive to Phoenix for now.
