  • With over 85 check-ins it's obvious I love coming to Ellis Island. Now that I'm a permanent resident of this little desert oasis I figured it was time to update just why Ellis Island is the best place to eat, drink, gamble, and sing karaoke in Vegas. Here's the updated reasons in no particular order: Awesome (and I mean awesome) dealers. The celebrity dealers are a welcome addition to an already skilled and friendly team of dealers. They are there nightly and feature the talented & funny Barbara as Bette Midler, a suave Gary as Elvis, a curvaceous Dinora as Mariah Carey, Lynn with a heart of gold as Shania Twain, Karine as the blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe (some nights she's Christina Aguilera but either way a hot blonde), and Kuki (probably spelled wrong) shaking it as Shakira. If you like karaoke this is the place to come. They have it nightly and it goes from 9pm to 3 or 4am depending on the night. It gets crowded so get there early to find a seat. Expect to wait at least 1-2 hours to sing. It's that popular. There's a wide variety of singers from awesome to just shoot me now but you'll have a blast regardless. Ellis is right behind Bally's and a short walk from the Linq. There's never a shortage of taxis in the parking lot either. Do yourself a favor and check out Ellis Island!
